Marriage Permission Rejected; Anne Feels Hopeless

And peace be upon you. I understand that you are trying to do all that is within your power to bring your son to Saudi Arabia but there is only so much you can do when it comes to the government here. The ball is now in your husband’s court and he should enlist the aid of a wasta or prince to get the marriage permission approved. Another option is to try the Saudi Embassy in the Philippines. Insha’Allah you will be successful and your son can then join you. Keep me updated!

Your name, nickname or anonymous: Anne

Type or copy/paste your submission here: Dear Tara, peace be upon you! I’m a Filipina married to a Saudi man in our country for 8 years but until now our marriage is not recognize by the Saudi government since we got married without approval. My husband applied several times to the MOI but still it was rejected. You know, Tara, I was feeling hopeless that we can still possibly together. Our son is growing very fast and yet we are not intact up to this time. We leave our son in Philippines and I’m here working in the hospital. I’m thinking to get our son as my dependent, but I don’t know if it is possible. I am planning to write a letter to our Gen. Director but I’m not sure if they will permit and if they will…how about the MOI…are they going to allow it? I hope you can give me some information. Thank you and more power to your website.
